Maglev music to our ears
The technology of maglev has basically always fascinated us. When we were little, we were pretty well convinced that by the time we were adults, trains would make a whooosh-hiss noise instead of clacka-clacka-clacka. Alas, it was not to be. At least, not yet.
But we'll console ourselves by bringing maglev technology to our desks with this new Mars Levitating Bluetooth Speaker. This is a solid wireless speaker (check the stats below) you can stream your music to which happens to float. That's right. The aluminum "craft" floats about 3/4" above the subwoofer base. You control the floatation and volume with a free app.
That would be enough for us, but there's more. The Mars Levitating Bluetooth Speaker also has a built-in high sensitivity wide range microphone, which means you can take calls on it. "Yes, I'm talking to you on my floating speaker phone" is going to be our new favorite phrase. But if you can convince the boss that the company needs one, the Mars Levitating Bluetooth Speaker could be the best thing that's happened to conference calls since donuts.
