Protect your dice from weapons (and also sharks)
Chain mail came about after field tests revealed that arrows and other pointy things could split open tunics and leather armor. Add metal and suddenly the casualties of war are far fewer. Win! Before you think that mail is only for LARPers and other cosplayers, check out these modern uses: protective clothing for meat-packers, gloves for butchers and woodcarvers, shark-proof diving outfits, and stabbing-unfriendly vests.
Now this armor can be used to protect your favorite random number generators! That's right - no longer will your dice be shielded by the flimsy material of a Crown Royal bag. With this chain mail and rubber gaming dice bag whether your dice are attacked by meat cleavers, whittling knives, shark teeth, or even an ice dagger, they will be protected. And hopefully your character will be protected by the contents therein. Seems only fair.
