Original blog post >>

So you’re working on your startup and want to connect with investors to take your dream to the next level.

Short of sending out emails to random firms and attending networking events there is really no epicenter for Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors to connect with  startups who need funding  until now.

Picture is  a comprehensive database of independent venture capitalists who are seeking viable startups to fund.

The network is a joint venture between two women in tech Jenny Q. Ta, CEO and founder of, the World's first Social Networthing® platform, and Shinta “Bubu” Dhanuwardoyo  founder and CEO of

“The old-fashioned way of funding only those startups that are owned by individuals within the VC(venture capitalist)’s own circle is a model that’s outdated (and) hindering innovation lead by true leadership in our industry,” Ta said in a telephone interview with

The database, which is growing daily, includes more than 400 VC's and Angel Investors who signed up within a week of the launch.

Here's how works:

Entrepreneurs create an online profile  and submit a business plan which should  include information about the team and how much funding they're seeking.
The startup will receive a notification that their profile and business plan was shared with that particular VC and will have access to their website for further information.

An added perk for start-ups, your first submission is free!
It'll cost you  $99 for each additional submission.

About the Founders

Dhanuwardoyo has been a trailblazer in Indonesia's digital landscape since the inception of her first company in 1996. She was also recognized by Globe Asia as one of the 99 Most Powerful Women and given a place on the Inspiring Women Honor Roll by Forbes Indonesia Magazine.

Ta was founder and CEO of Titan Securities, a full-service investment firm that was acquired in 2005, and Vantage Investments, a full-service broker-dealer she founded in 1999.

It's free and offers an incredible amount of resources for start-ups of all phases on how to navigate the process of  funding and growing your business.
